1. Commitment
Alan James Clinics is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk.
We aim to provide care in a way that supports dignity, safety, respect and protection from avoidable harm, abuse or neglect.
2. Safeguarding Concerns
Where there are concerns about safety, welfare, abuse or neglect, the clinic may need to take appropriate action.
This may include sharing information with safeguarding agencies, healthcare professionals, regulators or emergency services where lawful and necessary.
3. Confidentiality and Safeguarding
Confidentiality is important, but it is not absolute. Information may be shared without consent where required by law, where there is a safeguarding concern, or where there is a serious risk of harm.
